Exploring Pittsburgh's Osceola Parklet brought up a lot of memories of childhood in eerily similar parks hundreds of miles away. For this project I decided to dual-wield the presence of Osceola Parklet and my memory lane, creating illustrative "Pokemon"esque cards of fictional creatures based on my creations and what I wished I could create as an animal-fanatic child. I then scattered and hid copies of these cards around Osceola Parklet's playground, in places that likely only kids would see, or see first, in hopes to spark their creative sides and recycle these creatures for their own stories.
