One Shot Intervention

Justin Lee

This photo of mine depicts three origami boats sailing through a grass field towards the buildings of University of Pittsburgh. The boats are small, trivial objects neglected and overlooked by people passing by, but for their point of view (origami boats), the world is a titanic place that intimidates small objects due to contrasts of size and bulk. The photo is taken in a way where the outside world looks bigger than it is in real life by positioning origami boats close to the camera lens to emphasize the vastness of the world gazed from a miniature body.
