I have always felt that the objects people purchase tell us a lot about who they are. While it is fair to say not to judge a book by its cover, the items people carry make it feel like I'm getting a bit of the description on the back of the book. For my intervention, I went into a Target with my guitar and sang songs (made up on the spot) about the people around me in the store. I attempted to make these songs pretty personal even though I didn't really know anything about the people I was singing to. I often wonder what other people's perspective of me is. I thought my approach to this project would be a unique way of giving people some unexpected insight into someone else's perspective of them as a person.
