For a walk

For this project I created a sculpture/creature from sticks, then took it for a walk (or a float) in the Monongahela. Above is a video of a part of the walk. My goal was to draw attention to the currents of the rivers by using them to bring life to my creature. The creature didn't float quite in the way I had intended. It fell on it's side, obscuring much of its shape. But the walk still felt like taking a strange pet out, giving it attention and letting it float loose. Perhaps more testing and alterations could result in a better outing that better animates the creature and the current.
